====== Import DNS Zone in Infoblox ======

Say your internal resolver forwards example.com to an external DNS server that is authoratative for example.com.

Say you want your internal resolver to become authoratative for this zone.

  - Delete the forward zone entry.
  - Add example.com as an authoratative zone (empty).
  - Select zone and click "Import Zone" on the right.
  - Put in the IP of the external authoratative server and (probably) ignore the option to create host records.
  - Import the Zone.
  - Check the properties of the zone. Make sure the list of name servers is correct. You may need to set Name Servers list to 'none', save, reopen, set name servers again and then save again.
  - Check the actual NS records listed in the zone and run query tests.
