======Cannot Rename This Connection======
If you try to rename a network connection on Windows and get the error message
Cannot rename this connection. A connection with the name you specified already exists.
It contains numerous subkeys that correspond to GUIDs of each network adapter on the system. Each subkey should have another subkey, 'Connection'. The value of the Connection key is the name of the network adapter. You can check if any value is “Local Area Connection” . If yes, you can delete GUID key.
Besides, you also need to delete the same GUID key under the registry keys below:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Adapters
