PAN-OS Console

When viewing information in the console (not SSH), you may find that text overlaps.

According to this page, this is because default terminal type used by Palo Alto Networks firewalls is VT100. However, most of the time we use xterm. You can change the terminal type from the CLI set cli terminal type xterm The set command in operational mode and does not need to commit, the change will take immediate effect. After the terminal type is chosen, restart PuTTY again.
