BloxConnect is a useful source of telemetry to help Infoblox develop and improve NIOS (datasheet). It is recommended to enable it to improve your support experience.

BloxConnect transmits once every 24 hours.

1. In the NIOS GUI Mode > Grid Properties Editor > Toggle Advanced Mode > CSP Config > Advanced (Tab) and uncheck the “BloxConnect Data Collection and Opt-in Notice”
2. Then log into NIOS CLI and run these three commands
   1. set maintenancemode
   2. set cloud off
   3. scrape

Now all the non-NIOS containers are removed, and you should not see those connections.

To join this host back to the cloud (CSP) in the future, run the following commands from the appliance and then initiate the joining process:

1. set maintenancemode
2. set cloud on
3. set maintenancemode off
